Webhooks BrickStor SP can be configured to emit Webhook notifications. A Webhook is a way to send a variety of events to an external service which implements a Webhook API. This event may or may not be due to direct action from the BrickStor SP. There are several types of Webhooks available for creation which include: Google Workspace Chat notifications Microsoft Teams Office 365 Connector (Obsolete, use Workflow instead) Microsoft Teams Workflow Connector Pager Duty notifications Pushover notifications RackTop Webhook Format Slack Webhook Connector Webhooks can be created and managed via the Hub Webhooks page. Google Workspace Chat notifications To configure a Google Workspace Chat webhook, follow the steps below: Register the webhook in the desired Google Workspace Chat. More information about this process can be found using the following link: https://developers.google.com/workspace/chat/quickstart/webhooks Be sure to copy the Webhook URL at the end of this process. Navigate to the Webhooks page. Click Create Webhook, located at the top of the page. Enter a name for the Webhook. (Optional) Enter a description for the Webhook. Select Google Workspace Chat notifications for Type. Paste the previously copied Webhook URL. Check the box next to all the desired Events. Click Add. Microsoft Teams Office 365 connector Microsoft is removing support for Office 365 Connector by end of 2025. Use the Microsoft Teams workflow connector instead. Microsoft Teams workflow connector To configure a Microsoft Teams Workflow webhook, follow the steps below: Register the webhook in the desired Microsoft Teams chat or channel. Navigate to the Webhooks page. Click Create Webhook, located at the top of the page. Enter a name for the Webhook. (Optional) Enter a description for the Webhook. Select Microsoft Teams Workflow Connector for Type. Paste the previously copied Webhook URL. Check the box next to all the desired Events. Click Add. Pager Duty notifications To configure a Pager Duty webhook, follow the steps below: Create a service in Pager Duty using the Custom Event Transformer integration. More information on this process can be found using the following link: https://support.pagerduty.com/main/docs/services-and-integrations#create-a-service Be sure to copy both the Integration URL and the Integration Key. Navigate to the Webhooks page. Click Create Webhook, located at the top of the page. Enter a name for the Webhook. (Optional) Enter a description for the Webhook. Select PagerDuty notifications for Type. Paste the previously copied Webhook URL and integration key. Check the box next to all the desired Events. Click Add. Pushover notifications To configure a Pushover webhook, follow the steps below: Create an application in Pushover. More information about this process can be found using the following link: https://pushover.net/api#registration Be sure to copy the API Token/Key and User/Group Key at the end of this process. Navigate to the Webhooks page. Click Create Webhook, located at the top of the page. Enter a name for the Webhook. (Optional) Enter a description for the Webhook. Select Pushover notifications for Type. Enter https://api.pushover.net/1/messages.json for the URL. Enter the previously copied API Token/Key. Enter the previously copied Pushover User/Group Key to receive notifications. (Optional) Enter the devices configured on Pushover to receive notifications. (Optional) Configure the default event severity priority level. (Optional) Configure the sounds to be played for various types of event notifications. Check the box next to all the desired Events. Click Add. RackTop webhook format To configure a generic webhook for unlisted third-party applications, follow the steps below: Click Create Webhook, located at the top of the page. Enter a name for the Webhook. (Optional) Enter a description for the Webhook. Select RackTop Webhook format for Type. Enter the webhook URL. (Optional) Provide a username and password for authentication. (Optional) Provide a secret key for authentication. Click Add. Slack webhook connector To configure a Slack webhook, follow the steps below: Register the webhook in Slack. Navigate to the Webhooks page. Click Create Webhook, located at the top of the page. Enter a name for the Webhook. (Optional) Enter a description for the Webhook. Select Slack Webhook Connector for Type. Paste the previously copied Webhook URL. Check the box next to all the desired Events. Click Add.
