System time

BrickStor SP is a security system, making it highly time-sensitive. This is especially true when using High Availability clustering and when paired with an external authentication services such as LDAP and Active Directory. Be sure to keep the system time synchronized with a reliable time source using NTP.

Configure NTP

  1. Navigate to the System Time page.

  2. Click Configure NTP.

  3. Enter one or more NTP server address (one per line).

  4. Click Next to test the provided NTP servers.

  5. Click Apply.

Set system clock

Currently, the system clock can only be set against the provided NTP server or using the browser’s current date and time. To do so, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to the System Time page.

  2. Click Sync Time.

  3. Select the desired time source.

    1. Synchronize with NTP will synchronize the system’s clock with configured NTP servers.

    2. Use specific NTP server will synchronize the system’s clock with the specified NTP server.

    3. Set to browser time will synchronize the system’s clock using the browser’s current date and time.

  4. Click Sync to apply the changes.

Set timezone

To change the system’s timezone, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to the System Time page.

  2. Click Set Time Zone.

  3. Select the desired timezone.

  4. Click Apply.
