S3 Buckets S3 Buckets can be created in form of a dataset to allow sharing data using the Amazon S3 protocol. S3 can also be enabled for an existing NFS and/or SMB dataset while maintaining the same data access and security policies. To create a new S3 bucket, Navigate to the S3 Buckets page in Hub and follow the steps below: Click Create. Select the desired Pool and parent Dataset. Enter a dataset name into the field next to the path selection. Choose a Storage Profile or accept the default General File System. (Optional) Enter a description. Click Next to continue. Take note of Server and Port information. Use Manage Access Keys to create a new key. Configure the dataset’s Permissions or continue with the inherited parent permissions. Click Skip to confirmation. Review the configuration summary and click Create S3 Bucket to complete the creation.
