Global Settings Set snapshot capture time Navigate to the Auto Snapshot Policies page. Click the Configure Service button in the toolbar. Configure the dialog. Apply the changes. The fields configured in this dialog apply to all policy snapshots as they determine when Hub captures each policy snapshot. For example, if the Time of day field changes from 1:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Hub will take all daily policy snapshots at 4:30 PM. Hub will intelligently readjust when it takes the Monthlies and Yearlies if the condition set does not work for the period. For example, if the month is February and the monthlies are configured for the 31st of each month, Hub will take the snapshot on the 29th, the last day of February; the same applies for a leap year. The Rolling Snapshots Minutes of Protection field determines how many rolling snapshots Hub keeps at any time for a filesystem. If the field is configured to five, it takes a snapshot every minute, and by the fifth minute, Hub deletes the first snapshot. The Min Defer Destroyed Dataset Expiration tells Hub how long to keep a filesystem’s snapshots after it has been destroyed in the Remove from production and auto-destroy after snapshots expire configuration.
